Heather Sullivan
Heather is an original founder and current director of Wild Women Workshops. She wears many hats and moonlights as a writing and backpack instructor. She resides in Yosemite, California tending to the daily operations of the business and enjoying her world-famous backyard.
Heather has over 15 years of outdoor/environmental education experience, working with organizations such as the National Park Service, Yosemite Institute, Naturalists At Large, Yosemite Guides and St. Elias Alpine Guides in Alaska. She is a Wilderness First Responder, a "Leave No Trace" Trainer and holds a teaching credential. She has hosted writing workshops and facilitated writing groups nationwide. Heather has studied extensively with writing mentor Nancy Aronie, author of Writing From the Heart.
Her free time is filled with friends, potlucks, climbing mountains, lattes, surfing, skiing, pad thai, yoga, writing, mechanical bull riding, and an occasional donut.
